In an atmosphere of
acceptance and mutual support in a professionally-led group.
Dysfunctional eating is a way of coping. As
with many adaptive strategies, it comes with a price. The focus of this
regular group will be on body cues, feelings, cognitions, coping skills,
styles of relating, and self-expression. Through increased self-awareness
and skills, people can better meet their unique needs in ways that are
life-affirming.
